Any handyman will tell you that using the right tool for the job can make all the difference in the world. Here you can find a current list of the tools I’m using for writing, blogging, speaking, and more. Â Perhaps you’ll find them as useful as I do!
Scrivener – this is the word processor I use to draft ideas for blog posts. Â I’m also using it to write my dissertation, and will be using it to write my next book. Â It’s very powerful, especially for multi-chapter works.
Evernote – seriously, one of the best apps I’ve ever seen. Â I’ve been using this for almost a year, and I cannot tell you how helpful and useful this is. Â Michael Hyatt has written extensively on this – you can see one of his posts here that I found very insightful.
CoSchedule – this is a fantastic app that helps not only schedule my blog posts, but also share older posts that new readers might not have seen.
Keynote – I’m now using this exclusively instead of PowerPoint.  The flexibility is tremendous, and being a Mac user, not having Microsoft Office installed saves me quite a bit of disk space.
Accordance – this is the Bible software I use for research. Â It’s got quite a powerful map tool as well for maps and routes from antiquity.
